When should I visit?

Anytime is a great time to visit! And the sooner the better as far as we’re concerned…we’re here waiting on you! In addition to our In addition to our Saturday Night XLR8 service at 6pm, we also offer two identical worship services on Sunday mornings, at 9:15am and 11:15am. If you are looking for a pick-me-up in the middle of the week, then consider our Wednesday evening programs, starting at 6pm.

Where are you located?

We’re located at 15221 Eureka Rd. in Southgate, Michigan. We are 1 mile east of I-75 and 2 blocks east of Dix-Toledo Rd.

What should I wear?

Really, anything you like. We suggest something comfortable…because that’s what we’ll be wearing.

Do you have programs for Children and Teens?

Of course we do. JC’s Body Shop for Children ages 4-11 is offered during both of our Sunday Worship Services. Children also take part in Awana during our Mid-Week Service on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.

Middle School and High School Students are encouraged to attend any of our Weekend Services, as well as Youth Group on Sunday nights at 6pm.

What are the Services like?

Imagine finding a church that is enjoyable, one that you look forward to all week. We use many different techniques to communicate the message God has given us. You’re likely to find us using music, video, and other creative techniques in every Service.

How long are the Services?

We know that you have a lot going on in life and sitting through a long, boring, drawn-out church Service is the last thing you want to do with your Sunday. So first and foremost we strive to not be boring. If its less than a perfect fit then we’ll delete it from the Service before you ever see it. But to answer your question: plan for an hour and 15 minutes, and occasionally if we have a lot of really good elements, then an hour and half.

Tell me about your Pastors.

Our Pastors are some of the finest communicators we’ve ever seen. You won’t find a team of pastors anywhere that is more dedicated to truth, compassion, and helping others.

Do you have Small Groups?

We sure do. But we like to call them Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF’s). They are one of the cornerstones of our community at Calvary. Interestingly enough, you’ll find a lot more in the ABF’s than just study and fellowship.
